WW Friendly Dark Chocolate Banana Sheet Cake

I have met and must introduce you to my wonderful WW friend, Barrett Pastor. She is an amazing cook and has a great sense of humor. She created this wonderful Dark Chocolate Chip Banana Sheet Cake that is only 3 points per slice. And the slices are huge.

BLUE PLAN: 3 point

GREEN PLAN: 3 point

PURPLE PLAN: 3 point

When I made this amazing Weight Watchers Friendly Banana Cake I used exactly the same method as Barrett but I mixed it with a hand mixer and it still came out fantastic. I didn't think mixing it differently would change anything but you never know.

Low Point Cake

WW friendly low point cake can be hard to find, so we have to get creative!

It smells good already

I love finding new recipes to make and making new friends along the way. The beauty of WW is that we are a community of people who support one another on our journey. We create and share recipes, ideas, hacks, and advice to help each other become the best we can.

We also get to try a ton of new recipes and new takes on old favorites. Take this banana cake recipe, for example, I made a banana bread recipe that is only 2 points and tastes great. but I wanted to change it up and add something my wife would like to it. Adding chocolate chips was a no brainer, but how to do that and keep it low in points was the key. Barrett had the answer. Now I have 2 delicious recipes that I can make that are healthy and low in points but most of all satisfying that nagging sweet tooth 🙂

Try These Add-Ins

Wondering how to change it up a bit so that you don't get bored with it? Try some of these add-ins that are sure to have you smiling all the way to the scale 🙂 Your family won't know it is a low point dessert all they will know is it tastes great.

Other Add-Ins

  1. Neither dried cranberries nor raisins are zero points. You have them listed as ‘zero point add-ins’. Raisins are 6 points for 1/4 cup, even on Purple.

    1. You are right. I am sorry I will correct the post. I made a mistake, thank you for letting me know so I can fix it and make sure I am putting out the right information. I appreciate you letting me know.

      1. This makes no sense. These are at least 3 points on all plans. The flour alone is 24 points (divided by 15 squares is more than 1).

        1. They are 3 points on all three plans. it says that in the opening statement. I am sorry the calculations in the box were incorrect I have updated them. Thank you for finding that and letting me know. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know so I could correct the issue.

          1. So sorry, we don’t have calorie counts on our recipes. If you’re on iTrackBites, you can put it in the Calorie Command plan and it will tell you 🙂

  2. Just made it. Easy to put together, nicely moist. I think next time I’ll increase the spice, they were kind of muted in this version. Over all nice break from plain banana bread. Thanks.

    1. I am glad you like it. We all have different tastes and will add or subtract from recipes to suit. I always add some type of spicy pepper to my main dishes and I rarely use salt. You will find that others are opposite but the recipe is a great basis or starting point. I love creating recipes that make people smile and am glad to hear this one made you smile.:) never give up you got this. I hope you continue on your path to success.

  3. Just a note: dried blueberries are not zero points either. Looks like a great recipe though. Wilk be making it soon (have some bananas ripening—only 1 ready now, lol).

      1. Found this recipe and made it!
I substituted the sugar for Lakato Monkfruit Classic and added Roasted Pecans. I got 20 slices instead of 15 and the points were the same. Very impressed with the recipe. Thanks for sharing!!
