Can I sync my Fitbit to Healthi formerly iTrackbites? I get asked this question a lot because soooo many people are ditching Weight Watchers and joining iTrackBites. It’s the same system, but better, and costs WAY less. So, why wouldn’t you switch?
“Healthi formerly iTrackbites is an alternative to Weight Watchers. “
How to Sync Fitbit to Healthi formerly iTrackbites
Well, come to find out, not everyone knows you can sync a Fitbit to your iTrackBites! So, we are here to walk through this process – step by step. Don’t worry, it’s easy to sync your device!
How to connect your Fitbit account to your iTrackBites account
Log into your iTrackBites account and click “settings”. Then, click “connect”. Don’t see the “connect” button? Click Sharing, then Fitbit, and it should pop up.
Once this screen pops up, enter your login details for your Fitbit account. Choose to “allow” all metrics, then you may need to click the “allow” button again. Then, your device is connected!
Yes, you can! As long as you have a Fitbit account (which is free), you can enable “Mobile Track” and connect your iTrackBites account to track your steps via your phone!
We have personally tested hundreds of foods and recipes, dozens of restaurants, and have tried out every single iTrackBites plan! Overwhelmingly, the app is as accurate as the Weight Watchers app was, and has even more information and options (such as tracking a second metric or macros!).
Because iTrackBites is set up for a minimum of 3,000 steps a day, you can earn extra Activity Bites, but they won’t kick in until you pass that 3,000 steps.
Unfortunately, Fitbit sync is only a PRO feature, but iTrackBites is so much more affordable than other similar apps, it’s a no-brainer to sign up! Use code COACH_SMILEY to save $5 when you do sign up!
I personally worked with iTrackBites to get my readers a $5 discount on the PRO program! Use this link and you MUST USE MY CODE COACH_SMILEY at iTrackBites to save $5!
Need help? Use my tutorial on how to use an iTrackBites promo code! 🙂
Remember: if you have your Fitbit set up to manually sync, you’ll have to do this before it shows up in your iTrackBites dashboard. I have mine set to automatically sync, so I don’t have that extra step. 🙂
Is iTrackBites better than Weight Watchers?
I know many folks are super loyal to other programs, and I totally understand because I was as well! But, once I tried iTrackBites, I knew it was silly to be brand loyal to a brand that charges me 10x as much to get the same information! My weight loss journey is my own and it is important for me to remember that. Being brand loyal to any app is silly! I had to choose the app that works best for MY life, and that is iTrackBites.
- cost: Healthi formerly iTrackbites costs $36 for the year (using this link for 40% off makes it $36 if you use COACH_SMILEY as the code. You need to put in the code to save the MOST $$$), WW is $16+ for the month, and it’s the same formula! UPDATE JAN 2021 — sign up for a free account, then use code COACH_SMILEY after your profile is set up. Click DISCOVER PRO, enter the promo code, and you’ll get Healthi formerly iTrackbites for just $24.99 a year!! Use this tutorial if you’re unsure on how to use a promo code on iTrackBites. (They keep changing this!! So I update this tutorial often.)
- choices: I can choose PointsPlus, Freestyle, or any other plan I want with Healthi formerly iTrackbites. Even with the new WW changes, they only offer 3 plan options (not PointsPlus).
- logs: You can export your tracker data by the week, month, or quarter with Healthi formerly iTrackbites. WW does not give you access to quarterly data.
- accuracy: I’ve found inaccurate info in the WW app due to members submitting and not paying attention to the right numbers. With Healthi formerly iTrackbites, I know if I see the green check, it’s been verified as accurate. This puts my mind at ease!
