Premier Protein shakes

Here are a few shake recipes I have fallen in love with. Let me know in the comments below if you have a favorite I can add to the list. IF you try one of mine let me know how you like it and what you would do to tweak it. I love trying new things so I would love to try your rendition. OK on to the shakes:)

Weight Watchers says you have to count points on fruit if they are blended. We personally do not count the points for the fruit and we eat these delicious shakes with a spoon to help prevent overeating. The points are calculated without including the points for the blended fruit.

Reeses Premier Protein shake

BLUE PLAN: 4 Points

  • 1 chocolate premier protein shake
  • 3 tablespoons of PB2 or your favorite peanut butter powder
  • 1 banana
  • Blend until smooth and enjoy 🙂

Shamrock Premier Protein Shake

For my St. Patrick's Day folks 🙂 I am not Irish but I love this shake all year long.

  • 1 vanilla premier protein shake
  • 3 ounces of non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 pkg of sugar-free Instant Vanilla Pudding mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
  • green food coloring (3-4 drops, optional)
  • Ice Cubes
  • Blend until smooth and Enjoy 🙂

Take a premier protein shake and freeze it.
Cut the top off of the box and blend the frozen drink until you get the consistency you want.

Strawberry Banana Popsicles

BLUE PLAN: 2 Points

Here is another Ice-cream recipe sure to cool you off this summer.

  • 1 cup Fat-free yogurt1 cup of frozen strawberries
  • 1 Banana Premier Protein
  • 2 Ripe bananas
  • Add all ingredients to a blender and mix well
  • Pour into dixie cups and freeze
  • Remove from freezer and enjoy 🙂

Orange Creamsicle Slushie

BLUE PLAN: 3 Points

If you are using powdered flavor mix, mix the Protein and the flavor mix first so the powder dissolves then add your ice mix top with fat- free whipped topping and enjoy.

  • 1/2 teaspoon Orange crush water drink enhancer
  • Ice
  • 1 carton of Premier Protein vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons of Fat-Free whipped topping (optional)

McCormick brand extracts added to your premier protein can help it to taste better. If you don't like the taste of protein drinks. Try adding a flavor extract to them. McCormick makes several that will make getting your protein a little easier. Try the caramel extract in the vanilla premier protein I add the mixture to my coffee in the morning. It is oh so good. The peppermint extract added to the chocolate premier protein for a wintry treat even in the summer months. Can you say, Peppermint Patty? There are several more you can try but those are my go-to right now.

Lemon Custard Shake

BLUE PLAN: 3 Points

GREEN PLAN: 3 Points

PURPLE PLAN: 3 Points

  • 1 vanilla Premier Protein shake
  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free lemon pudding mix
  • Ice

Blend all ingredients until smooth
Add a non-fat whipped topping if desired
Enjoy

Premier Protein Piña Colada

BLUE PLAN: 4 Points

GREEN PLAN: 4 points

PURPLE PLAN: 4 Points

1/2 of a medium banana
1/2 cup frozen pineapples
1 Vanilla premier protein shake
1 tablespoon of coconut flakes
Ice cubes

Blend all ingredients except the coconut flakes. I blend those in last.
blend in the coconut flakes and enjoy.
Top with fat-free whipped topping if desired.

BLUE PLAN: 3 Points

1/2 carton of Premier Protein Caramel Protein Shake 5.5 ounces
3/4 cup of bleached almond flour
1/2 cup Stevia
1/2 Tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 large egg
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons applesauce (butter substitute)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Line the muffin cups with cupcake liners.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, Stevia, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, and sea salt. Mix with a whisk to get all the lumps out.  
  4. Melt the butter and set aside to cool. 
  5. Add in the egg, pumpkin puree, vanilla, melted butter, and mix until combined. 
  6. Add in the PREMIER PROTEIN® Caramel Protein Shake and stir.
  7. Spoon the batter into the muffin cups about ¾ from the top of the liner.  
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 25 minutes or until the muffins are golden around the edges. Insert a toothpick in the center of the muffins until it comes out clean.

Butterfinger flavored shake

BLUE PLAN: 2 Points

GREEN PLAN: 2 Points

PURPLE PLAN: 2 Points

  • 1 Premier chocolate shake
  • 2 tablespoons PBFit powder mix
  • 2 tablespoons s/f Jello brand butterscotch pudding powder
  • Ice Cubes

Mix all ingredients together in your blender
Blend until you get the desired consistency
Enjoy

Rootbeer Protein Shake

BLUE PLAN: 2 Points

GREEN PLAN: 2 Points

PURPLE PLAN: 2 Points

  • 1 carton Premier Protein Vanilla
  • Ice
  • 1 stick Root-Beer water flavoring
  • Fat-Free whipped topping

Blend Protein and root beer stick together until well blended
Add ice and blend until you get the consistency you desire
Add fat-free topping
Enjoy

Protein infused vanilla pudding

BLUE PLAN: 2 Points

GREEN PLAN: 2 Points

You heard that right a pudding that has protein in it and is delicious. With only two ingredients it is quick easy and a dish you can make with the kids. Let them in on some of the fun and joys of cooking. This is pretty simple recipe just substitute premier protein for the milk. This recipe makes 4 1/2 cup servings.

  • 1 vanilla premier protein shake (if you want chocolate substitute 🙂
  • 1 sugar-free vanilla pudding mix (chocolate for you chocolate lovers 🙂

Chill the premier protein
Pour both ingredients into a medium-sized bowl
Mix well
Pour into individual serving bowls and enjoy.

Caramel apple protein popsicles

  • 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 premier protein caramel shake
  1. Add Premier Protein Caramel Shake, unsweetened applesauce and cinnamon to a bowl and mix well.
  2. Pour into popsicle trays and freeze for 4-6 hours
  3. Serve drizzled with Caramel Sauce for a truly decadent experience

Premier Protein hot chocolate

BLUE PLAN: 2 Points

GREEN PLAN: 2 Points

PURPLE PLAN: 2 Points

  • 1 cinnamon stick (garnish) and added cinnamon flavor 🙂
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 chocolate Premier Protein drink
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Add all ingredients into a medium saucepan, except the cinnamon stick
Bring to a boil.
Once the mixture starts to boil remove from heat.
Place a cinnamon stick in the pot and let it steep for 5-10 minutes with a lid on
Remove cinnamon stick from the pot
Pour into a mug, place cinnamon stick in the mug, and enjoy.
