As of July 30, 2019, Barrett has been on WW freestyle for about a year and 4 months. She is 51 and looks amazing. More importantly, she has successfully lost 40+ pounds and had committed to helping others achieve success with myWW.

Her beginning weight was 176 lbs. and she is 5'4 ish lol have to add those heels 🙂 Her goal is 135 and currently she is 145 so 10lbs away woo hoo 🙂 People including her husband, have said she should go on to maintenance right now and that she is at a good weight. I feel we each choose our goal weight and that is where we know we will feel the most comfortable.

How to Lose 40 Pounds in 30 Weeks

You are worth the Effort 🙂

Barrett has heard “Well you only have to lose x amount of weight I have to lose so much more” Weight loss is based on a percentage of your overall body weight so even if you “only” have 20 or so pounds to lose it can still be difficult and it does still take time and focused effort to do that. If you feel like you are not getting the support you need because you have a small amount of weight to lose just remember we are all in this together. We are here to support you no matter how much or little weight you have to get to your goal. Having a support system is one of the main keys to Barrett's myWW success.

Keys to Staying in Track

1. Track

The number one advice tip I can give is to track. No matter the plan you are on if you don't know what you are putting in your mouth you will not have a gauge for what works and what doesn't. If you know what you are eating then you can analyze what is working and what isn't and adjust from there. Tracking is what has enabled me to know that it is not myWW Blue plan (formerly Freestyle) that is at fault for my plateau it is my fault.

2. Enjoy your Kitchen

Set your kitchen up the way you like it. Get to know where things are and make it your own. Have fun with it. Turn on your favorite music, get out your favorite pan or knife and make meal planning and cooking fun. If your kitchen isn't fun take a few moments to move some things around in there. Feng Shui if you want. Do what it takes to truly make it enjoyable to be in there prepping and meal planning and cooking.

3. Stay Consistent

No matter what you do, no matter what plan you choose even if you don't choose myWW, stay consistent. Stick with what is working for you get around people who will support your journey. Never Give Up you are worth it and you will succeed as long as you stay consistent and keep working your plan. 🙂

Why Did You Start Your Channel?

I tried a lot of diets as well as watched a lot of youtube videos of other people and the diets they were doing. I decided on myWW and had success from the start. After having 2 children back to back I put on some weight and could not lose it no matter what I tried. I tried diets from Atkins to the cabbage soup diet but nothing really worked. WW Freestyle really worked for me and I felt like I wanted to tell everyone how well it worked for me. I would be in the kitchen and my husband would say things like “This is really good you should tell your sister about it.” So after some thought, I decided to give this Youtube thing a try and I will do a couple of videos and if no one watches them I will delete them no big deal.

To Help Others

Well as you all know people did watch. I made some great friendships with other Youtubers and people who follow my channel. My own journey seems to resonate with others and I love helping people get to their goals. The friends you meet online can be just as good as the friends you meet in real life. The online support form different FB groups and from different people is absolutely amazing. We talk every day and get to know each other. This is why I keep doing my channel

Where is Your Channel Going in the Future?

I plan to stay the course at this point I like hitting subscriber milestones. I enjoy making videos and helping others. I am a real estate broker in 2 states so I have a job 🙂 I don't have dreams of being a full-time Youtuber I am doing this to help others along this journey.

Thank you, Barrett, for sharing your journey you are an inspiration to so many people. For more great videos from Barrett check out her Youtube Channel Living Life On Track
